It was a close run contest with myself and GWolf1 also leading the competition
at stages during the season. In the end, Gwolf1 finished just 5 games behind
jkb. Scouse finished 16 games behind GWolf1 in third place.

All members succeeded in passing last season's points total.

The golf and formula 1 competitions will continue to run and any points won
will be added to your total points. When the new football season starts, the
golf and formula 1 points won will then be included in the 2018/2019
Competition Points Won Table.

support on the forum. Don't forget that there will be a World Cup Prediction
League which kicks off with Russia v Saudi Arabia on Thursday 14 June.

Last 16 matches: Saturday 30 June to Tuesday 3 July.

Rest day: Wednesday 4 July, Thursday 5 July.

Quarter finals: Friday 6 July, Saturday 7 July.

Rest day: Sunday 8 July, Monday 9 July.

Semi Finals: Tuesday 10 July and Wednesday 11 July.

Rest Day: Thursday 12 July, Friday 13 July.

Third and fourth place play-offs: Saturday 14 July.

Final: Sunday 15 July.

During the World Cup, I will post the first matches played in each group and so on until all group matches are complete. I will update the
results and prediction league table on a daily basis after the matches are played. Then I will post the fixtures for the knock out stages.

There will be a £25 prize to the winner of the World Cup Prediction League. As usual members will earn 1 point for a correct result and 3 points for a correct
score. The winner of the competition will be the member with the most points. If there is a tie, the winner will be the one who has predicted the most
correct scores. If there is still a tie, the prize will be shared.
