Nine goals in two home game and we are definately seeing something special under Nuno. For anyone to have such an immediate impact on a side in such a short space of time is remarkable. The togetherness each time we score is a joy to see, from the players to the coaching staff.
I don't think Wolves needed to step it up too much yesterday against a Bolton side that couldn't get near us, their only way of stopping us were the numerous unpunished fouls let go by the ref, especially in the first half. The partnership between Cavaleiro and Doherty is getting stronger each time the two step onto the pitch. Barry Douglas, what an important signing he is proving to be, the free-kick in midweek against Leeds and the quality corner that led to Boly's opener.
Bolton were there for the taking and bar the opening couple of minutes, they were no match for Wolves in the first half. For Wolves fans at the start of the season it was "Leo" who?, but now we have a striker who's link up play is excellent, drops deep, receives the ball and starts a Wolves move, he can also score goals, again as he did yesterday after good work from Jota. This Wolves side are creating chances and entertaining us all aswell. I'm glad that fans are returning, there's nothing better than seeing and hearing Wolves fans in full voice.
Into the second half and the third goal came with the excellent Cavaleiro scoring from the penalty spot, Bolton can have no complaints about the penalty award. The only downside to the game really was that Wolves conceded. Cavaleiro again proving that he's enjoying his football with a good finish for the fourth. Not all goals will be scored with a 15 pass move, the long kick from Ruddy to pick out Jota's run was perfect and so was the finish. The players, and fair play to them gathered round Ruddy to celebrate for his contribution to the goal.
Another good win and who said that Wolves don't like November?
